The  BIG BLUE Boards are specifically designed for women to give you the best performance. We develop our kiteboards with an average female kiter in mind. In general, we women are lighter and shorter than men. Designing a board particularly for women means to adjust its technical parameters based on our physical differences. 

To achieve the same level of riding comfort that male kiters experience, we have adjusted the outline, thickness and length of the board and size of bindings. This means that the board’s weight changes as well. 

As a result, handling and manoeuvring the board becomes easier, and we can enjoy longer kiting sessions. Therefore, progress is faster, and we have more fun. 

Yep, you read that right FASTER PROGRESS…Lighter, manoeuvrable kiteboard with perfect stiffness for women plus bindings that fit is not a luxury; it is a necessity, if you want to feel confident and progress at a quicker pace. 

The winner will be able to choose between three sizes: 130 cm, 135 cm.

What to do to win this

1. Join our PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP.

2. Upload one short video about the joyful moment in kiteboarding on WKC Facebook page HERE

3. Include hashtag: #BigBlueBoards (Make sure you add #BigBlueBoards to your post. The videos without hashtags are not entering the competition).  

This video story should: 

• Be no longer than 30 seconds (Need some hints? HERE YOU GO!),
• Recorded in horizontal format, 
• Community friendly.

4. Be available in December for a video chat with our Board President to share the excitement of winning!!! 

And remember, let your creativity shine through. Here are few ideas: 

• Upload short video from your kite session or from the beach (it can be super short; 5 seconds counts as well). 
• Create video from your favourite pictures. 
• Record yourself on your smartphone telling us a short story of your joyful kiteboarding moment (try to fit the story into 30s). 
• Show us how you celebrate after your joyful session.

Get creative! You have until December 3th to submit your video on WKC Facebook here. We are looking forward to all your funny, cool, touching, original submissions.  

Then from December 3rd-10th we will open a voting contest. First, our Board of Directors will vote on the five best Videos of all submissions. Then we’ll present the top five to our community. Our Facebook community will then vote on the best one. Voting closes at midnight EST on December 11th.  

The winner of  new 2020 edition MARLIN KITEBOARD with bindings will be announced on December 12th. We are beyond excited; we can’t wait to hear about the new adventures our winner will have. 

Giveaway Terms & Conditions.

The WIN A BIG BLUE BOARD giveaway runs from November 13th 2019 to December 3rd 2019. Limit one entry per person. 

Winner will be chosen by an open vote in our private Facebook community. The announced winner will be notified via our community on December 12h, 2019 and contacted via Facebook or Messenger. 

There is no fee to enter. Only an email address and video are required. You must agree to receive emails from Big Blue Boards and the Women’s Kiteboading Collective.  

The Winner agrees to pay $50 USD toward shipping, along with any customs, taxes, fees, etc…for the prize to enter your country. Big Blue Boards has agreed to cover the balance of the shipping cost exclusive of any customs, taxes, fees, etc…for the prize to enter your country. 

This contest is not affiliated with Facebook. 

Additional details: 

• No purchase necessary to enter the competition. Limit one entry per person. 
• This competition is open internationally, aged 11 years or over. Employees of Promoter, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates or other parties, including but not limited to Big Blue Boards and Women’s kiteboarding Collective., as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and household members of each such employee and/or authors, are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. 
• This giveaway will commence November 13th at 6am EST. All entries must be received by December 3rd at midnight EST. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid. 
• Entrants may submit one video and an email address is required. By entering the giveaway you agree to receive emails from the Women’s Kiteboarding Collective and Big Blue Boards.   
• The prize for the winner includes: one Marlin Big Blue Board, one pair foot pads and straps. 
• The video with the most votes will be the winner. 
• The prizes are non-transferrable and no cash alternative will be offered. 
• Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into. 
• The winner will be notified via our community and via email on 12th of December 2019. The winner must claim their prize by December 20th . If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Big Blue Boards and the Women’s Kiteboarding Collective reserve the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules. 
• By entering this giveaway each entrant confirms that her entry is their wholly-owned creation and, to the extent that such entry makes use of any third party materials, that these have been fully cleared unless they are no longer protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights.
