I would love to have the perennial wahine hardness to be my first hardness to own and have a chance to learn to kiteboard. I tried lessons but all failed to understand my deaf issues and unable to teach me 🙁 trying to save money to buy the gears and have to self teach alone…

Learning to kite has been the hardest thing I have ever done. Much harder than sailing across oceans, downhill skiing or riding and hiking cross country. It has taken a long time and I truly thank all the teachers, friends and mentors who have helped me along the way. Some are members of this group – Carolyn Port, Eva Petrikova and Sylvie Brassard.
I have entered this comp to hopefully win my first waist harness. I have learned with a seat harness and its been great but now I want to progress, ride toeside, gybe and learn to pop. A waist harness is going to be the way to go. Fingers crossed

Good luck to everyone who has submitted an entry for this comp. and thank you for the responses to mine! So exciting. I have been watching vids and trying to go toeside in my dreams. Haha!
I love reading the posts in this group. Go girls
